I am a Broker/Owner of a residential real estate company company in Minnesota and have seen first hand what a premium domain name will do for an agents business. So much so that I started collecting real estate domain names 10 years ago.

Sometimes I can’t spell it right if it’s too long.

The comment left here by “Russell” (or Gary Bird) is nothing short of SPAM. I don’t go to his business and slap bumper stickers of my company on his walls, why does he feel that it is appropriate to do so on mine? I will leave this comment up (without his link) as an example of how not to behave on the interwebs.{{end}}

I use Sacramento Marketing Company for all of my blogs and SEO work. They also have great web design.

Sadly many people missed the boat and someone else owns that prime real estate: your name!

Such as “miami real estate”. You want your site to rank high in Google for that keyword phrase, and having it right in the domain name helps a lot!

Funny but doing that research on great domains often ends up at sub-par web sites. My goal is to exceed expectations with interesting posts that also rank well with “the Google” because they are relevant.

Wish I read this a year ago when I began my mortgage buyer blog. It might have taken less time for it to get serious traffic.

Your job will be ten times easier when you are trying to rank with your site.
Of course i dont mean “it is” the most important thing SEO, but SEO is most important thing when choosing it.

Just be careful and refrain from using the word “Realtor” in any domain name. NAR polices domains and will send cease and desist letters. (even if you are a REALTOR, stupid right?)
I don’t agree with their policy – I’ve received one and know others who have.
