Most Realtors do not have the time to blog all the time. Especially when they get mixed results from Google.

I think it is time to take the notepad with me, and write something down when it occurs to me… When I do sit down to write, I seem to come up a little blank, but would otherwise have a lot to say.
I hope, as commented above, that it will come more easily with time

I would love it if you would do another post to The Tomato about that, and what apps use use like Flickr etc.

No I don’t have an assistant. As for goals with photography it is like writing the more photos I take the better they get. I take a lot of architectural photos and interior property shots because they are good for business. I keep my camera with me if I can and try not to annoy others by stopping for shots. 🙂 The photography started because of the blog. As blogger I have an almost endless need for photos. I now have so many that I have started a photo blog and a blog that I am slowing working on that has Minnesota wildflowers. I like to hunt for them in the woods, it is how I relax. So I guess I do kind of fit photos in as I can. I don’t have a plan it just kind of happens and it doesn’t seem like I can stop, I keep finding things to shoot and now my daughter has become interested in photography and we have been going out together. I am enjoying teaching her and am learning a lot because of it.
Judy – I smile . . big smile. thanks
Bruce – there are days when my schedule gets blown to bits but I have a simple philosophy and that is that every day is a new day and I have a chance to start over.
Steve – thanks. I really enjoy the bar camps and I love it when I get to meet some of the people who live in the computer.
** I tell Jim that the reason I like to write on the Tomato is because he has cultivated such a wonderful group of readers. The comments are so kind and I always feel like what I write makes a difference **

She is just as you [well maybe just me] imagine her in her writing. Funny, direct, giving and smart but very humble at the same time. She gave a class on Flickr and weeks later I’m still trying to implement everything she taught us. She had a lot of tips and tricks. She’s a great resource for the Tomato.

I sat in on the Flickr class you taught at RE Tech South, and so I realize some of your photo content is personal, while some is business, so do you also have goals with photo work, to supplement the writing in the blog? Or do you fit the pics in as you can? And, if I could ask another question, do you have an assistant or someone to do RE tasks that you can delegate, to give you more time to blog / do pics? Thanks.

Let’s see if I can start to at least post every day for a month – baby steps. Thanks once again. I will bookmark this page and keep on coming back to it.

Sure, the results aren’t based on ALL bloggers…but whatever. The results are similar to what I was expecting, which is why I had Teresa contribute the article: Bloggers find it difficult to make the time to blog. BUT, looking at the poll results, the least challenging thing for them is generating leads from blogging. Now, if it is working for you, then why wouldn’t you make more time to do it? Seems silly now that you think about it. Morale: Blog more, make more.

A regular schedule does help though. Like T, I’m a morning person and have been waking up early to check email and work on blog posts…then my son wakes up and all bets are off.
Did you guys see this? http://twashere.com/category/teresa-boardman/
My summer resolution is to be more like Teresa! Organize my blogs, write consistently (at one place or another) and put ALL my photos on flickr in an organized fashion.

To hear a duck quack? Never met her, never spoke to her,but “t” is my hero! Love, love love the pics. BTW,it would take more than discipline to turn me into a blogger like Teresa ;-)lol But thanks, Teresa, for being an example of how to do it right!
