Thanks for the mention of our company, The Writers For Hire (www.thewritersforhire.com).
Personally, I keep a .txt document on my desktop (appropriately called, you guessed it, blogideas.txt). Whenever I see a cool idea for a blog, or something pops into my head, I jot it down there. Then if I have a little extra time, I just scroll down the list, and I don’t have to stare at blank blog screen.
By the way, if anyone hears about us from your blog, we’ll be happy to give them a 10% discount, just for mentioning you and this blog.
Happy Thanksgiving guys!

I personally think if you’re a realtor you should take time to write blog posts yourself- no matter what their length is… Micro-blogging really rocks!

I worry that number three is close to astroturfing. I think perhaps getting an interview or using outsourced content to create links to are two easy ways to avoid. At the very least, I think if someone outsources (some) of their content that the content should be infused with the real estate agent’s expertise. Otherwise, it seems to defeat the purpose of a blog.
Thanks again for such fantastic content!

I have a handful of posts have written to go back to when I have bloggers block. I always keep a running list of ideas from which to choose. Sometimes its not as much the ideas as it is the inspiration to write.

I am going to do some more research on a Swicki and get back to you all, thanks for the great information.

Great post for mentioning such a good tool. Another way a blog can help users select topics is that most bogs show you how many times each article was viewed. That helps users to determine which articles are of most interest to your visitors. For example, we found that many of our Cape Coral bloggers that specifically talked about marketing homes in this declining market drove more traffic than those that didn’t. Those that revisited that topic from different angles frequently also drove more traffic than those that didn’t. That is a very valuable feature of a blog. It can also help visitors to determine which posts might be of most interest to them.

Thanks for turning me back on to the Swicki. I installed a swicki when I first launched the Tomato. But, I never gave it the chance to work its magic. Perhaps I should reinstall… hmmm…
Went ahead and did so. And now you deserve all the credit! Thanks.

You have written and credited other parties responsibly, but my concern about this article is that not everyone understands the ethics and legalities invloved in using someone else’s work. It takes one quick email and most folks are flattered, so please, blog responsibly. Give proper credit. Blogging is publishing.
Thanks for letting me get that off my chest Jim!

I store drafts of content and have a special file in outlook that I call blog food. I keep articles and emails for future publication. When I get writers block I go through my photo library and find a photo to write about.
